Hello,

My name is Gwenn. I'm a Registered Massage Therapist, Sound Healer and Massage Mentor. I am currently practicing in Edmonton, Alberta.

I specialize in therapeutic massage therapy, anything from motor vehicle accidents, hamstring tears, rotator cuff injuries, migraines, sciatica issues to plantar fasciitis. Recovering from an injury or misalignment also requires a touch of education and understanding of the issue, which I will provide for you. Included in your massage treatments are an assessment and any rehabilitation education that is required for your body to repair itself. The massages are designed specifically for what you need.

Since graduating from Medicine Hat College with a Massage Therapy Diploma and Sports Massage Therapist Certificate in 2007 I have never stopped learning.  I traveled to Thailand to study Thai massage, I've completed a fire cupping course, head, neck & jaw master class, anatomy trains in structure & function and many more that I've learned so much from.

In 2018 I finished the Yoga Teacher Training through the Yoga Association of Alberta.

I had the pleasure of mentoring students through their massage therapy clinical practicum at Vicars School of Massage Therapy and I also worked at  CDI College as a second year massage therapy instructor.

The most recent certification is learning the Graston Technique. This is where we incorporate stainless steel instruments into your massage to enhance your therapeutic massage experience.  Research has proven this to be a very effective instrument to accelerate healing of ligament, tendon injuries and enhancing the movement of our fascial system.

As a fun hobby I completed a Sound Healing Certification. This is such a great way to calm the mind and body and its very creative and accessible for everyone.

With all of this knowledge that I've gained over the last 19 years of my career I have to thank my gurus and mentors. It wouldn't be possible without your words of encouragement and love.

Namaste.
